Product Operation Video
Product Introduction
The alarm adopts a photoelectric sensor with a special structure design and a reliable MCU, which can effectively detect the smoke generated in the initial smoldering stage or after the fire. When the smoke enters the alarm, the light source will produce scattered light, and the receiving element will feel the light intensity (there is a certain linear relationship between the received light intensity and the smoke concentration).
The alarm will continuously collect, analyze and judge the field parameters. When it is confirmed that the light intensity of the field data reaches the predetermined threshold, the red LED light will light up and the buzzer will start to alarm. When the smoke disappears, the alarm will automatically return to the normal working state.

Installation Instruction
Operation Instructions
Normal state: The red LED lights up once every 56 seconds.
Fault state: When the battery is less than 2.6V ± 0.1V, the red LED lights up once every 56 seconds, and the alarm emits a "DI" sound, indicating that the battery is low.
Alarm status: When the smoke concentration reaches the alarm value, the red LED light flashes and the alarm emits an alarm sound.
Self-check status: The alarm shall be self-checked regularly. When the button is pressed for about 1 second, the red LED light flashes and the alarm emits alarm sound. After waiting for about 15 seconds, the alarm will automatically return to the normal working state.
Silence state: In the alarm state, press the Test/Hush button, and the alarm will enter the silence state, alarming will stop and the red LED light will flash. After the silencing state is maintained for about 15 minutes, the alarm will automatically exit the silencing state. If there is still smoke, it will alarm again.
Warning: The silencing function is a temporary measure taken when someone needs to smoke or other operations may trigger the alarm.
Common Faults And Solution
Note:If you want to learn a lot about false alarms on smoke alarms, check out our product blog.
Fault | Cause analysis | Solutions |
---|---|---|
False alarm | There is a lot of smoke in the room or water vapor | 1. Remove the alarm from ceiling mount. Reinstall after the smoke and steam are eliminated. 2. Install the smoke alarm in a new location. |
A "DI" sound | Battery is low | Replace the product. |
No alarm or emit "DI" twice | Circuit failure | Discussing with supplier. |
No alarm when press Test/Hush button | The power switch is off | Press the power switch on the bottom of the case. |
Low battery warning: When the product emits a "DI" alarm sound and LED light flash every 56 seconds, it indicates that the battery will be depleted.
The low battery warning status can last about 30 days.
The product battery is non-replaceable, so please replace the product as soon as possible.
Yes, smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years to ensure reliable performance and safety, as their sensors can degrade over time.
A 10-year sealed battery smoke detector is a smoke alarm with a built-in, non-replaceable battery that lasts for 10 years, providing long-term protection without the need for battery changes during its lifespan.
Your 10-year battery smoke detector may be beeping due to a low battery, an expired sensor, or a buildup of dust or debris inside the detector, indicating that it's time to either replace the battery or the entire unit.
Yes, you can put a 10-year battery in a smoke detector if the model is designed for it; many modern smoke detectors come with a sealed 10-year battery that cannot be replaced, ensuring the unit functions for a decade without needing battery changes.
You should test your 10-year smoke detector at least once a month to ensure it is working properly, even though the battery is sealed and doesn’t need replacement during its lifespan.
Choose the Installation Location:
*Install the smoke detector on the ceiling, at least 10 feet from cooking appliances to avoid false alarms.
*Avoid placing it near windows, doors, or vents where drafts could interfere with detection.
Prepare the Mounting Bracket:
*Use the included mounting bracket and screws.
*Mark the location on the ceiling where you will install the detector.
Attach the Mounting Bracket:
Drill small pilot holes in the marked spots and screw in the bracket securely.
Attach the Smoke Detector:
*Align the detector with the mounting bracket.
*Twist the detector onto the bracket until it clicks into place.
Test the Smoke Detector:
*Press the test button to ensure it works properly.
*The detector should emit a loud alarm sound if it's functioning correctly.
Complete Installation:
Once tested, the detector is ready for use. Monitor it periodically to ensure it continues to function well.
Note: Since it has a sealed 10-year battery, there’s no need to replace the battery during its lifespan. Just remember to test it monthly!
